This 3D printed violin teaching frog (in blue color) is glued to an ordinary 3/8" wooden dowel which is 18" long. The 3D frog was specifically designed to meet the needs of the young beginning violin student to learn a correct bow hold.

The 3D frog features a special indention on the bottom for the thumb to rest near the ferrule area. Many Suzuki Method teachers use this area or near that in the beginning with younger students. The 3D violin teaching frog also features an additional indention near the stick for "traditional" teaching.

Obviously the bow does not have hair installed nor is it used to perform with - rather it is a teaching tool all about learning how to hold the bow under the direction of a teacher.
